Vuksich & Borich has now been a successful organisation for over 50 years and was founded in New Zealand in 1959 and at that time worked solely within the New Zealand market. Since its inception in 1959 by New Zealand Contractors member Ray Vuksich Senior (QSM), the integrity and tradition built by the late Ray Vuksich is proudly continued by the Vuksich Family Directors.
Ray Vuksich Senior’s fundamental guidelines for professional conduct – including fairness, integrity, honesty, excellent service and making a contribution – are qualities that are even more relevant today and have permanent, enduring value.
Since 1994 Vuksich & Borich has remained a family business wholly owned by the Vuksich family. Senior Management, including two of the founder’s sons and his daughter, provide professional management and competent leadership. In 1994 the Company took on it largest excavation to date. The Casio Big Dig Project saw V&B remove 550,000 tonnes of material from the central Auckland site that later became Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower.
Being a privately owned family company the directors' personal involvement in each project ensures we provide quality services, which reflect the needs and expectations of our clients, without the formality required by public companies.
With the same ownership Vuksich & Borich (NZ) Ltd took over the Civil Engineering business from Vuksich & Borich Ltd in 2007.
To service the growing demand of our expertise from our Pacific neighbours, Vuksich & Borich (Fiji) Ltd was also established and Vuksich & Borich have been active in the Pacific for 20 years now. It has been a valuable and rewarding journey for the company.
